So you're into this Little Free Library idea, but you haven't seen any around town? Where are they? Look no further!

SNELL-CRAWFORD PARK

 

The Snell-Crawford Park is host to a Little Free Library right at the entrance to the park, near the playground.  The Steward for this library is Andrea D.

Little Free Library at First Congregational United Church of Christ. The Church is home to Dodger Preschool and next door to Feelhaver Elementary School in Fort Dodge, Iowa

FIRST CONGREGATIONAL UCC

 

This Little Free Library is located along the front sidewalk of First Congregational United Church of Christ - 1611 Williams Drive. The church is host to Dodger Preschool and is just next door to Feelhaver School, making this a great location! Adrienne A. is the steward to this library.

AEA LIBRARY

 

This Little Free Library is located at the AEA Building on the corner of 5th Ave. S. and S. 13th St. just across from St. Paul Lutheran Church.

JOY OF READING LIBRARY

 

This Little Free Library is located inside Crossroads Mall in the Sears wing, just outside local bookstore Book World!  Donated by the Joy of Reading Foundation in memory of Emily Joy Averill, this library is stewarded by Book World.

KENNEDY PARK

 

The Kennedy Park campground is host to a Little Free Library, right near the Camp Store. A great place for campers of all ages to grab a book for the weekend! This library's steward is Nancy H.

OLESON PARK

 

Oleson Park is also home to one of our Little Free Libraries! Located near the south end of the Oleson Park Zoo, this library made by Fort Dodge Senior High students is hard to miss! Its barn theme fits perfectly with the Oleson Park Zoo barn! Kim H. is steward of this library.

HAWLEY LIONS PARK

 

This cute handcrafted Little Free Library is located at Hawley Lions Park in the Round Prairie neighborhood! The library's steward is Sarah S.

HYDRO-ELECTRIC PARK

 

This school-bus themed library brings books to the Hydro-Electric Park neighborhood. The Messenger graciously donated the library from one of their retired newspaper stands! Emily H. is the steward of this library.

RIVERSIDE SCHOOL

 

Riverside School on F Street is home to this Little Free Library! Tucked back in the playground next to a bench, this library is a great spot to sit and read a while. Kathy Miller-Olson, a former teacher, and her husband made this library. Kathy is also the library's steward.
